HIGH SCHOOL GAME (SEASON 1)
CHAPTER 12
FRIDAY MORNING 08:00AM
Jason walked into the big hall with a bright face. A special seat was set for the new students in the front row. He walked in slowly to the front row, but to his disappointment all the seats were already occupied.
He looked around then he spotted a small space close to me.
Jason walked to me and sat down. I shifted and then he also shifted close to me and made sure his was body was touching mine.
Just then the school management entered the hall and took their seats. Then the school Principal Mr. Fred stood up and went up to the podium, took the microphone. Everywhere became quiet.
Seemed like Mr. Fred is strict.
“Good morning students” he said as he didn’t even allow us to respond before he continued.
“As we already know why we are gathered here, I won’t take much of your time explaining again why we are here. So now, I would like to welcome our new students. I can see you all look happy.
We are also happy to have you here. Now, I will call on Mrs. Catie our Vice Principal Admin to notify the new students on some important details they may not know about our school.” Mr. Fred winked at Mrs. Catie as he went down and took his seat, while Mrs. Catie stood up with some papers in her hands and stood on the podium.
“Good morning students”
“Good morning ma’am” we chorused and then she continued
“Without taking much time, on behalf of the management staff, I welcome all the new students here to G.S Central High School. I assure you, you won’t regret choosing to study here in this great school” she paused for like a second before the continued.
“We have a lot of history in this school, a lot of things had happened in the past. Some good, some bad but none has tarnished the image of this amazing school. This school is best known for her academical excellence, sports excellence and many others.
We don’t only pursue grades here but we strive for excellence in all ramifications. We have a special program which we call “Camp Games”. There’s always a Game Master to control the camping. [She raised her head, searching through the crowds of student, not exactly looking for anything] you all will surely enjoy the camp games.
Furthermore… That’s all we have for you all. Subsequent announcements will definitely be communicated to you all. Once again welcome to GSCHS. You can now go back to your classes” She ended her speech with a smile and then all the students gave her a round of applause, except for Jasper who was busy doing what only he knows.

School closed for the day and then the three wise men; Jason, Jasper and Chain decided to spend time together instead of going home straight.
So they decided to go to Chain’s house because they rarely go to his house. Chain leaves with his mother alone. His father died two years ago while travelling on air. His Dad had built a basement in the house just for him and by extension his friends.
The basement was arranged with sofas, smart screens, video games, lights and many other decorations. Chain loves playing in the basement right from his childhood days and there he was with his best friends.
His mother cooked and brought for them while they were busy playing video games. Nobody talked about school or Star or whoever.
They just spent time together and when it was night Jason and Jasper decided to go home.
