Henry VIII’s Bedchamber At Hever Castle
King Henry would have stayed in this room while courting his lady love Anne Boleyn, at Hever Castle.
The panelling in this room, excluding over the fireplace, dates from the 16th Century.
The ceiling dates from 1462, and is the oldest in the castle.
This was an amazing room to visit, and to imagine Henry and Anne courting.
Happier times, when the young bud of love was just starting to bloom.
