GOV OTTI FLAGS OFF 30KM AROCHUKWU-OZUABAM ROAD, SAYS NO PART OF ABIA WILL BE LEFT BEHIND.
Less than two months after flagging off the reconstruction of 62km of the Umuahia-Uzuakoli- Isuikwuato-Abiriba-Ohafia road, which was a single lane but is now being constructed as a double lane, a major corridor linking the state capital with communities in the northern part of the state, Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, signaled on Wednesday the commencement of construction of another strategic route linking three communities in the same Abia North.
The road will connect three communities in Abia North and boost economic opportunities in the state. The Governor emphasizes the importance of engaging reputable engineering construction companies to ensure quality work and value for taxpayers’ money. The road is expected to be completed in 12 months and will benefit communities in Arochukwu and Ohafia LGAs. Local leaders and Ndi Eze, express appreciation for the development and emphasize the positive impact it will have on their communities. Governor Otti calls on Abians to support government efforts by fulfilling their civic duties and warns against vandalism of public infrastructure.
