THE END OF DAYS
CHAPTER 13 (THE MEETING)
I could hear the movements of my father. I guessed he was busy preparing for his flight.
I couldn’t sleep last night. I kept thinking of everything happening in the world. My father had never been so serious about church, Bible and God.
I definitely heard a voice in the church but then why haven’t I joined my father?
What would happen if the whole world was to have just one religion, one currency and one community? It means the whole world would be monitored by the Government and that automatically means we won’t be as free as we think we are.
“God in heaven, I’m confused. Please show me the right way. Speak to me and help me out of the messy head I have”
While I was praying and my eyes were closed, I saw a boldly written verse of the Bible (Isaiah 1:18). I quickly opened my eyes and then fear gripped me. What was that?
What is Isaiah 1:18? And why am I seeing such a thing? Oh yeah! The Bible! I quickly ran to my father’s room and brought out the spare Bible we have because I’d dashed out my Bible several years ago to a neighbor because I never thought I would ever need it.
I was good at opening Bible naturally and then what I saw in that verse hooked me. I felt paralyzed!
KJV:”Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

“Touch down time exactly 12pm” Mr. Enoch said via the speaker while Potentate Lucius was with his personal assistant Mr. Samjay.
Mr. Samjay was one proud fellow who prefers we all address him as Commander Samjay. Mr. Enoch kept wishing he could hear whatever they were talking about but of cause the cockpit is a different world entirely.
Mr. Enoch looked at his assistant pilot who was quiet since the flight took off.
“What is wrong with you? Why are you quiet?” Mr. Enoch asked
Jake looked at him for a while and then he tried to open his mouth but then closed it back. Mr. Enoch activated autopilot and then he faced Jake.
“Do not hesitate. Talk to me”
“It’s nothing serious. You don’t believe in what I was thinking about. So no need to sound it in your ears”
“You never can tell! Just hit me!”
“I think the Bible is coming to fulfillment”
“Why do you say so?”
“Sir, I’d been thinking a lot about the sudden occurrence this world had suffered with and with all that I’d heard and experienced before the sudden disappearance, I think we are in the end times and we must find a way to be right with God”

It is surely not a nice thing for God in heaven to forgive me even when He knows I’m a sinner. Not just a sinner but a great sinner.
I surely don’t deserve any mercy or forgiveness from God because I’ve been a terrible sinner. While I was lamenting, my eyes suddenly fell on something.
“Come and let us reason together…”
That sentence caught my attention and then I began to ponder upon it.

The big plane finally landed and then a hotel had been booked already for Mr. Enoch and Jake.
“We shall go back to the city as early as 8am tomorrow. Please be ready” Mr. Samjay instructed.
“Alright Mr. Samjay” Mr. Enoch responded but Mr. Samjay was not pleased because he needed the title of commander to be added to his name when addressing him.
The meeting was scheduled for 3pm and the leaders of all nations were expected to be there.
Finally, it was time and after the peripheral ceremonies, the Potentate began to address the leaders while the world watch on television stations.
“This idea is gonna bring lasting peace and security to the whole world. We need to become ONE in all we do so that our people can be save. Imagine a world where we use one currency, we identify with one religion and we also have one community where we shall all be ruled by one leader. Mind you, do not think I want the position for myself, I don’t need it. All I want is for peace to reign in this world. I have a lot of plans for the world but we have to reason together”

Pastor Albert was in his office watching the meeting but he wasn’t buying any of it. It was clear to him that the Potentate was a fake preacher of peace and his humility was as fake as anything you can think of.
It hurts him the more seeing that all the leaders were blind and insensitive to the fact that the greatest enemy of peace was with them but they don’t know.

“Jake, I’d repented and Jesus is now my Lord and Saviour. What you were saying while we were flying was something I really wanted to speak to you about but while you were talking, I was giving thanks to God because He has opened your eyes to reality the same way He opened my eyes”
“It was a great gift to me but then what do you think about the Potentate and about this meeting as a whole?”
“I don’t really know what to say but my heart doesn’t stand with him. I have to ask my Pastor some questions when I go back home tomorrow”
All of a sudden, the meeting arena became full of noise from different angle.
“Why are they arguing?” Jake asked
“Well, I guess we’ve missed a part while we were talking but I think somebody is against a request in the meeting”
