Peter Obi Donates N5 Million to Charity in Port Harcourt
Renowned Nigerian political figure and businessman, Peter Obi, extended his philanthropic reach by visiting the Daughters of Charity of St Vincent De Paul in Port Harcourt, where he made a generous donation of N5 million to support their noble cause.
Expressing admiration for the Foundation’s longstanding commitment to serving the underprivileged and marginalized segments of society, Obi emphasized their dedicated care for the poor, abandoned, and vulnerable individuals, including those afflicted by leprosy, across Nigeria and Africa.
During his visit to one of the Foundation’s centers in Diobu, Port Harcourt, Obi witnessed firsthand their compassionate care for vulnerable children. Inspired by their work, he contributed N5 million to aid their efforts in providing a nurturing environment for these children.
In urging other philanthropists and donor agencies to join the cause of supporting the less fortunate, Obi reiterated his unwavering commitment to initiatives that foster positive societal impact and drive national development.
