Kenyan Military Helicopter Carrying Defense Chief Crashes

A Kenyan military aircraft carrying the Chief of Defence Francis Ogolla and other officials has crashed, a government spokesperson said on Thursday.

The number of casualties is yet to be confirmed.

The officials were conducting a tour to assess the security situation and discuss the potential reopening of schools in the volatile border region between West Pokot and Elgeyo Marakwet.
