FLIGHT SANTO DOMINGO: Kanyemba Names 35 for Uganda Clash
Zambia U17 Women’s National Team coach Carol Kanyemba has named her 35-member provisional squad for next month’s 2024 U-17 FIFA Women’s World Cup third round, first leg qualifier against Uganda.
Kanyemba has retained the majority of players that featured in the second round 5-1 aggregate win over neighbours Tanzania and included a new crop of players who are eligible for the qualifiers.
The Copper Princesses will host Uganda at Nkoloma stadium on 12 May before travelling to Kitende for the reverse fixture a week later.
Winner over both legs will face either Morocco or Algeria in the fourth and final round for a place at the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup to be staged in the Dominican Republic.
