I didn’t know we were doing the double this year.
The first time I came out here I was humbled but now am almost speechless, I will have to talk, there is only one promise I have for Port Harcourt, what you’ve seen so far is our brand perception, we’ve just been projecting our image unto the port Harcourt people.
By the first quarter of next year, we are starting our brand experience and we are one of the only real estate companies in Nigeria that is playing both at the top and at the bottom of the value chain.
A new Banana Island is coming up in Port Harcourt and our mission is to completely eradicate the Lagos-Port-Harcourt dichotomy in quality and excellence.
I won’t lie to you, doing business in Port Harcourt is not easy but the ease of doing business in Abuja and Lagos is far better than here we are going to show those people running away from Port Harcourt that there is something good here and they will all come back by the time we are far succeded.
So we are starting a luxury, the men you see standing by me are the BOT members (Board of trustees) in Alesa, where that new banana island is coming up called ‘Alexa island’ and then we are also going to launch our low-cost housing estate.
What makes us unique is that we don’t just copy and paste, we have some innovations that are going to reduce the cost of low-cost housing and make it very low-cost but very high quality.
I know you will like that low-cost part, so I just want to tell you that, this has spoiled us to do more.
