THE END OF DAYS
CHAPTER 12 (THE LIFE OF A CHRISTIAN)
“This is your second chance to live in eternity. You miss it, you will end up on the other side of eternity”
I heard that very clearly and then immediately, I got scared. The church dismissed and then I could see the people whose name were called (including my dad) following the new Pastor into his office.
I didn’t know what to do. I just sat down and then all of a sudden, the past events of my life began to rush back into my memory.
My mother usually would want to talk to me about the reasons why we must not miss rapture but often times, I will just walk out and hiss. She didn’t stop coming back to want the discussion.
All these while, I’d been following the footstep of my father who unfortunately is together with me even while the others have disappeared.
My thoughts brought me back to the present day and then I got disappointed after remembering that Abel had joined the end time believers. I didn’t even know why I was disappointed but it felt awkward seeing that I was the only person that thinks different amongst my loved ones.
I didn’t realized I had been sitting and having a deep thought not until mu father tapped me. I looked around but we were the only ones in the church and it was night already.
“What were you thinking about?” My dad asked
“Nothing important. Can we go home now?”
“Yes, we can”
And as we were about to take a step out of the church, my father’s phone rang.
“Hello!” My father said while the caller began to talk and my father was just saying “yes Sir” after a while, they were done and then my dad let out a heavy sigh.
“What is it?”
“I’ve been selected to fly Potentate Lucius tomorrow by 2pm”
“Wow! That’s a honour dad! You will fly the most respected man in the world. You should be honoured”
“Yea, I should but I don’t know why I feel worried. I don’t like that man. He seems fake to me”
“Dad, you’ve started again”
“The more I study the Bible, the more I pray, the more I doubt him but wait a minute; this might be an opportunity to get close to him and to know him for myself”
I didn’t say thing. The cab man drove and packed in front of us. We entered and went home.

“Lord, we need your strength, we need empowerment, we need your spirit to guide us through this end time journey. I confess that we are only weak vessels and we pray and hope that you will sufficiently fill us up. This group that you’ve created, the capacity and ability we need to gel, please grant it to us. Thank you Jesus”
Pastor Albert finished praying and then he had to use the chair close to him as a support in order to stand up and that was because he has been praying for a very long time.
He got up and decided to watch the news. Every news channel were busy reporting matters regarding the Potentate.
“This man is all over the place” he said to himself
It was reported that the Potentate is flying to an undisclosed location (for security reasons) and it was gathered that the meeting he would attend would be held to talk on the plan for a ONE COMMUNITY and also ONE BANK NOTE.
That statement caught the mind of Pastor Albert. They are trying to bring the whole world under one community and also every human on earth will start using the same bank notes.
“The Bible talked about these” he said to himself

“Ma’anan, I told you I don’t trust this man. The Bible was also clear about the events of the end times”
“Dad, what so you mean?” I asked as I could see how transfixed my father’s eyes were on the television while I was busy in the kitchen.
“The meeting I will fly him to tomorrow is to discuss on bringing the whole world under one community and also the whole world using one bank notes”
Suddenly, I could feel what he was saying.
“By that, it means one bank note, one community, one religion and so on?”
“Exactly Ma’anan! Finally you are getting it and the Bible talked about all of it. I will make sure I get every information from the flight tomorrow by God’s grace”
I stood in the kitchen not knowing what to think. I couldn’t lie to myself because one thing is certain. Since the disappearance of the massive number of people, the world hadn’t been the same any more.
