RIVERS ASSEMBLY HOLDS VALEDICTORY SESSION FOR COLLEAGUE

The Rivers State House of Assembly at its 86th Sitting, Thursday, held a Valedictory Session in honour of a deceased Colleague, late Hon. Dinebari Loolo, who until his demise was the Member representing Khana State Constituency II and Chairman, House Committee on Environment in the Tenth Assembly.

Speaking at the Valedictory Session, serving and former Members acknowledged the intellectual doggedness and amiable disposition of Hon. Loolo who they said contributed intelligently and meaningfully at plenaries and committee meetings; stressing that late Hon. Loolo was a resource of sort.

In his eulogy, the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Martin Chike Amaewhule, described Hon. Loolo as one who as a lawyer brought his knowledge of the law to bear on his legislative duties; adding that Hon. Loolo was a humble
and easy going legislator.

Rt. Hon. Amaewhule recalled that Hon. Dinebari Loolo deputized him when he was Majority Leader in the Eighth Assembly, and affirmed that Hon. Loolo panache in job delivery was legendary; adding that Hon. Loolo will be greatly missed by his Colleagues.

Rt.Hon. Amaewhule urged the family to take solace in God, as their loved one makes his final journey back to God.
