♪IHIGH SCHOOL GAME 1
CHAPTER 2
♪I was listening to the ocean, I saw a face in the sand, but when I picked it up, then it vanished away from my hands down….I had a dream I was seven, climbing my way in a tree, I saw peace of heaven waiting impatient for me down ……… ♪
I sang softly as I slowly drifted off to sleep with a smile etched on my face. Later on, I woke up full of energy and feeling satisfied with myself but not even knowing that it was morning already until I heard the morning news from the television set which my bad bought for me early December last year.
I got ready to go shopping with my Mom for the things I will be needing for school.
I went to the kitchen and saw that Mom was done preparing breakfast. So I helped out to set the table as Dad sat down and Mom joined soon enough.
We ate our food after a short prayer. My family was a Christian family and we were taught to pray before eating our food. My big brother joined us as we ate. He rarely does though and that was because he and my father hardly agree on things.
“Good morning Mom!” Ryo said as he sat down to eat.
“Morning son, how was your night?” Mom replied.
“And am I too small to be greeted by you, Ryo?” Dad yelled in anger.
“Dad please calm down, it’s too early for you guys to argue” I said calming my Dad down but Ryo acted like he didn’t hear or noticed my Dad.
We were able to eat in peace as I took the dishes to the kitchen for washing.
Later on I and Mom went out. We went to the school to get me registered first since it was a Friday. I was giving everything I needed and then we left. We arrived at the mall and shopped for other things I will be needing and that includes new clothes and shoes. Mom paid and then we went back home.
“Thank you so much Mom!” I said hugging her so tight immediately we entered the house.
“It’s okay dear, as long as you continue to make us proud, you will get anything you want my love”. Mom assured me while I carried my stuff and ran to my room to check out everything.
I went into my room, dropped the stuffs on my bed and ran to the restroom to ease myself. I finished then washed my hands. I sat down on the bed as I brought the bags close to me and opened it.
I checked everything that was giving to me by the school. Note books, text books, sets of pen, sets of rulers, a math set, three sets of uniform, two sets of sport wears, the school time table, the school map and an iPad which I could tell was given to every student of the school. I was so happy about all of these things.
I checked the things we shopped earlier, a backpack, a side bag, some shoes, socks and clothes. I packed them up and kept them accordingly. Then decided to take a walk. I took my headphone and my phone and left my room. I got to the living room to see my Mom watching her favorite TV show.
“Mom! I’m going out for a walk. I will be back soon”. I said to my Mom as I pecked her and left the house.
I was walking along the park with my headphone adding to me joy when I suddenly bumped into a guy, although there were three of them.
“Hey, watch where you are going to girl”. The guy I bumped into said why looking a bit annoyed.
I took off my headphone immediately.
“I’m so sorry, I wasn’t looking, please forgive me”. I apologized immediately.
One of the other two guys was coming close to me like he wanted to hurt me but I stepped back a bit.
“Let the girl be Jasper!” The guy I bumped into said, referring to the guy coming close to me.
The third guy drew the Jasper guy by his arm as they left. They looked like rich kids to me and all three of them were handsome but the guy I bumped into was more handsome.
‘Thank goodness I didn’t get into trouble with those guys. They seem to be ruthless especially the Jasper guy’. I thought in my head as I walked down the park.
