Chapter 26

I was so surprised to see Gina coming out from the lecturer office. It felt awkward because she knows the story already and then I thought, she is just one of the bad eggs around me.

I turned my face away as if I didn't see her.

"Hey babe!" Eric said as he came forward to hug me to which I obliged.

"How you babe?" I asked

"As you can see, I am fine, healthy and Handsome for you"

I stood there blushing like an idiot.

"So, what's up?" He asked

I then explained everything that was going on with me to him and also the event of that morning at the hotel and while I was talking to him, I was watching him but there was nothing wrong about his attitude and then with that I became happy.

He talked to me calmly and also advised me on what to do about it.

At that moment, I wished my other side could stay around to see that my man is free.

Oh! Right, she is always with me. I guess she is currently hearing us.

We talked for a while, walked around the school for a while and then finally he invited me over to his house as according to him, there's a surprise waiting for me at his house.

I was so happy as it has been long since I got a gift from someone apart from my parents.

We got to his house and then boom!!! Everywhere was decorated as if to welcome a politician. I felt honoured and my smile was as wide as the ocean.

My face was so red with blushed all over my face. I jumped and hugged him so tight and I could see how happy he was.

"What is all these for?" I asked while still in tears.

"Well, my dear woman, this is one of the ways I want to use to tell you THANK YOU for accepting me into your life. You've really been a good woman to me and I appreciate that a lot. I love you so much!

" Awwwn!! Thanks darling. Oya come here" I said as I opened my arms for him to get a hug from me.

"Now, come over here" he said as he held my hand and took me to his dining where there were several containers covered.

I opened them one by one and it was astonishing. It all had assorted kinds of food and encouragement.

"Babe, do you want to kill me?" I asked

"Nop! Instead I want us to enjoy ourselves tonight. Are you ready?" He asked

"Yes, I am!!!" I replied and so we began to eat.

My phone rang but I couldn't receive the call because I was busy with Eric (you know what I mean☺) but the call kept ringing and ringing and ringing, I still ignored it.

"Who is disturbing you like this?" Eric asked

"I don't know but just forget it" I said to him and then we continued having our pleasure. It was a great time, a really great time.

We finished and then I went to take my bath, came back and saw that Philomina was the one calling me but I didn't call back.

Instead, I jumped into the bed and had a cuddle with my man.

Eric's phone began to ring and then he picked the call but went to the bathroom. He was there for what looked like thirty minutes and then I became shocked as to why he would be relaxed making call for over thirty minutes when I'm still around.

And so I decided to walk to the bathroom so that I could talk to him. His voice was faint, not too loud and so I entered the bathroom only to find him bathing but wait, why didn't I hear the sound of water before I entered (I asked myself) but then he drew me under the shower even with my clothes and had no choice but to bath with him again.

"I didn't ask you to bath alone the first time" he asked but I just smiled and was happy with him.

On going back to the bedroom, I saw a missed call from Philomina again but I still ignored it.
