Chapter 25

We were trying to cook something to eat when Gina came in.

She greeted us and then we all answered.

"Come Gina, what happened to your phone" Philomina asked

"My phone?" Gina asked

"Yes, your phone! We've been calling since morning but it was not going through" Jessica said

"My phone was on o! Maybe it's network" she said

"So where did you run to again?" Jessica asked

"Hmmm... I left the hotel and then I met with a friend. So I went to his place" Gina said as I sat down, not saying anything but observing and listening to all of them.

And from what I've seen so far, one of them is not together with us but who is that?

It is possible that network was the culprit behind our calls not going through.

"Ta shup up there" my other side suddenly said

"Why should I shut up?" I asked her as I quickly locate my earpiece

"Only those with sensible thoughts should speak" she said

"How?" I asked

"What rubbish are you saying or thinking?"

"Spirit woman, what do you mean?" I asked

"Everything is clear to you. The whole signs are showing but here you are thinking with your left eye"

That got me laughing so hard.

"Wetin happen?" Philomina asked

"Don't mind me" I replied

"Why are you laughing?" She asked

"Because I really don't know when you became such a comedian"

"Really? You think it's funny? It is your life and situation we are talking about here" she said

"My life? My situation? I thought you said you are me and I am you?"

"Yes.."

"So what do you mean by it is my life and my situation" I asked

"Dey play!" She replied and then disappeared

"So, you planned the whole thing with your friends right? You think you can humiliate me? I am always ten steps ahead of you and because of what you've done, I have no choice but to release the video in which those boys raped you and guess what? It wouldn't look as if it was rape but rather you were freely giving it to them

That was the text message that came into my phone from the Lecturer the next day.

My mood changed when I saw that. I didn't know whether to cry or to laugh but one thing was certain, I knew I was im trouble already because nobody would believe my story again.

I wanted to call Eric and talk to him about it since he is a guy and should have a way to help out but my mind was not settling with that or should I just discuss it with my girls?

What do I do?

" Go and tell Eric about everything but make sure you observe every little thing from henceforth" she said to me and left

I quickly called Eric but his line was busy. I tried again but the same thing and then I tried the third time before it went through.

"What's up baby girl?"

"Cool! Please are you busy?"

"Never busy for you my love"

"Please can you come over? I have something important to discuss with you"

"Hope all is well?"

"Not really. Just come first"

"Alright! I'm on my way but where should I meet you?"

"Under the big tree"

"Alrigt!"

I found a place and sat down under the big tree and then I realized that the tree was actually directly opposite to the Lecturer office.

I smiled and wanted to turn my gaze to another side BUT then, I saw a familiar person coming out of the young Lecturer office.
