Chapter 14

I plugged my earpiece into my ears.

"Who is that guy?" I asked

"A good guy who wants good for you" she replied

"I don't want to be comfortable with any guy around me but I couldn't even resist the guy like the others"

"It's a good sign baby girl"

"So, what is the next step against those rapist?" I asked

"I've changed my mind"

"How and why?"

"Well, I thought forgiven them is the best option. Try and get close to this new guy and then if you still don't feel comfortable with guys, then we shall go ahead with the plan

" hmmm... you were the one that even gingered me on this revenge mission o"

(Some girls passed and hailed me but I had to nod with my head and then point at the earpiece to signify that I was on call)

"Just do what I said and please call your parents now!"

"Why?"

"Just call them!"

I took out my phone and then dialled my mother's number without even checking the call logs or phone contacts.

"Hello Mom!"

"Hello dear! Longest time"

"Hope you are all fine?"

"Yes my dear! We are perfectly fine. What about you?"

"I'm fine Mom"

"Well, I guess you've been busy in school with studies because we don't talk as often as before"

"I'm sorry Mom. What about dad?"

"Oh! He has gone to work already. I will tell him that you called and I have a great news for you"

"Really? What is it?" I became excited to hear it.

"I'm expecting a younger brother for you" she said with mouth full of laughter

xoh! I'm so happy for us Mom. I know you are so happy. Don't worry, it will stay mom and I won't stop praying for it to stay"

"Amen my daughter! Oya let me allow you study. Talk later" and then she ended the call.

Somebody that I called with my own airtime is ending call but nevertheless, I was happy for her because she had always wanted to have another child but thunder fire miscarriages.

"Hey, where are you?" I tried calling out to the other side of me

"I'm always with you"

"Thank you!" I said feeling shy
"Have you ever seen a girl tell herself thank you?" She asked

"I don't understand. Myself our?" I asked

"Forget it!" She said and then she left while I walked home but couldn't stop thinking about that guy.

What is that his name sef? Then I brought out the paper he gave me when I got home. I copied the number to my phone but didn't have the mind to call him so I just slept.

A part of me wants to meet him immediately we finish with these lectures but I had to restrain myself because I still don't feel comfortable enough to allow a guy close to me.

"What is it with the rush?" A voice asked while I was trying to rush out of the class after the end of the lectures. I turned and it was the guy again.

I felt shock that I almost fell but he held me and immediately I started imagining those scenes in movies where a girl wants to fall but the guy would just hold her against the ground.

He made me steady and then he just stood smiling.

"I didn't expect you to call" he said

"Well I didn't" I said pretending not to be interested in the talk

"Yes you didn't. How was the lectures?"

"Interesting"

Suddenly, he collected my bag, held my hand and then began to walk to take me to where I don't know.

"Somebody's wall is breaking down" my other side said as she continued laughing
