1. MIA LE ROUX
Le Roux was born in Sasolburg, Free State in 1996 and later relocated to Oudtshoorn in the Western Cape, where she was raised. Her Parents names are Liesel and Schalk le Roux, co-owners of a newspaper and PostNet in Oudtshoorn. The Le Roux are of french origin but born and bread in South Africa.

At a young age, she was diagnosed with profound hearing loss, a condition that has significantly impacted her life.

Her educational background includes attending Oudtshoorn High School and earning a nutrition certificate from the Sport Science Institute of South Africa and an exercise specialist diploma from ETA college.

She is also a part-time BCom Marketing student.

Apart from being the model, Le Roux is also a businesswoman. She currently works as a marketing manager and models part-time. She is also studying Marketing at the University of South Africa.

2. CHIDIMMA ADETSHINA
Chidimma Vanessa Onwe Adetshina was born in 2001 in Soweto at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital to a Nigerian father and a Mozambican mother, though some sources claim that her mother is actually a Zulu South African.

Her father is of Igbo descent while her mother is a Mozambican who had become a naturalized citizen of South African.

Upon confusion of her birthplace and nationality, she cleared the case by providing proof to the authorities. She is currently studying international relations at the University of Pretoria.

Her participation in the Miss South Africa pageant was surrounded by controversy, with some calling for her removal due to her citizenship and eligibility concerns. In which she later withdrew from the CONTEST.

South Africans 🇿🇦 happy with The New Miss South Africa, while Nigerians call for ubunthu on why the South Africans did not see Chidimma fit to contest when she's pure South African by birth just like Mia.
