Mr. P Explains P-Square's Breakup During Show Where Fans Called for Reunion
At a recent show where fans were asking for a P-Square reunion, Peter Okoye, known as Mr. P, spoke about the reasons behind the group's breakup. He made it clear that the split wasn’t because of any ongoing fight with his twin brother, Paul (Rudeboy), but due to unresolved issues within the group.
"We didn’t break up because we are enemies. I love my twin brother—he’s still my dear brother, not my enemy. We broke up as P-Square due to certain things we need to resolve," Mr. P said.
He also said, that a reunion might happen in the future, but it would depend on whether they can solve the issues that caused the breakup. Mr. P also acknowledged that while fans want to see them together again, few have asked why they’ve broken up three times already.
"Our fans really want to see us together again, but none of them is asking why we’ve broken up three times. We’ve been trying to please fans without resolving the cause of the breakup," he added.
As fans continue to hope for a P-Square reunion, Mr. P's comments suggest that it will only happen if they can work through these long-standing issues.
