Taye Ismaila Taiwo (born 16 April 1985) is a retired Nigerian professional footballer who last played as a defender for Kakkonen club SalPa.

Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Taiwo began his football journey at Nigeria Division 1 club Gabros International before moving on to the Nigeria Premier League side Lobi Stars. On 10 January 2005, at the age of 20, Taiwo made a significant move to France when he was signed by French club Marseille, with a reported transfer fee of 200,000 euros. He was brought in to fill the void left by Bixente Lizarazu, who had departed for Bayern Munich. Taiwo officially joined Marseille at the end of January 2005.

His debut for Marseille came on 12 March 2005 under manager Philippe Troussier, starting a match and playing 61 minutes before being substituted in a 2–1 victory against RC Lens. Foot Marseille commented on his debut performance, noting, "For his debut in White, this athletic Nigerian started well with a goal ball for Luyindula and a few good interventions, then seemed completely lost on the pitch, never knowing how to position himself. His second half confirmed these incredible mistakes. He will hardly be able to do worse, but given his age and his physique, he will surely speak of him better, much better."

Despite facing competition from fellow left-backs Salomon Olembé and Kōji Nakata, Taiwo managed to start the remaining three matches of the 2004–05 season, contributing to the club's fifth-place finish in the league. By the end of that season, he had made a total of four appearances in all competitions for Marseille.

Taiwo’s career at Marseille was marked by success, including winning Ligue 1, Coupe de la Ligue, and Trophée des Champions. However, after transferring to Serie A side Milan, his career experienced a decline. As noted by Goal.com, "The left-back unfortunately faded following his promising time in France, which turned out to be the high point of his career."
