Man graduates with first class in petroleum engineering after sponsoring himself with his plumbing work

23-year-old Nigerian man, Gabriel Eze, graduates with first class in petroleum engineering from FUTO after sponsoring himself through school with plumbing work he learnt at a tender age as a result of his father’s demise.

News of the man’s accomplishment was shared by a social media user, Maazi Ogbonna Okoro II on Facebook.

It was gathered that the young man, who hails from Okposi Ebonyi state, lost his father at the tender age of 7.

He continued his education through primary and secondary school and began learning plumbing till he gained admission into FUTO in 2017.

Despite how demanding it was to juggle work and school, Gabriel Eze maintained his academic records and bagged a first class degree in petroleum engineering.

Eze lost his father at the age of seven and the future looked uncertain. He completed his primary school education in 2011 at the Federal Government College (FGC) Staff Primary School Okposi and obtained his First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) with Distinction.
